brr-law.comI recently finished the website for Baldani, Rowland & Richardson. I had fun working with the design, which is all css and no tables. The site is brr-law.com.

Upgraded WordPress

Just upgraded to the latest WordPress and all I can say is shwooo…Most of it was flawless, but there was an issue with one table. For some reason it didn’t upgrade properly. Used my backup and fixed the issue. Hopefully there will be no other surprises with my upgrade. Let me know if you notice anything.

My BlackBerry Theme on BerryReview.com

I created a theme for my BlackBerry Curve and decided to make it available to the masses. My theme is called thaGorillaz after the band Gorillaz. Here are some screenshots of the theme:

Setup WDS Between Your Wireless Router and Airport Express

I know I am way behind the times but I can’t help it. For Christmas my wife got me an Airport Express in order to play our music from our desktop (upstairs) on our surround sound system (downstairs). I mentioned this to her because I was in the understanding that I could expand my wireless network as well (WDS). Although possible, my network wasn’t ready for this. So I began reading and found several articles but none worked for me - I’m using Windows and not a Mac, which most articles referenced. By piecing together the information I was finally able to expand my network using my Linksys WRT54G router and my new Airport Express and I figured I’d write this down for others having problems.

If you don’t know what WDS (Wireless Distribution System) is, check out the Wikipedia article which goes into detail - WDS. But it is basically a way to setup multiple access points wirelessly, thus expanding your network.

My First Firefox Extension

I have created my first extension for Firefox - myPlugins. Yay me! It is nothing spectacular but was fun to create. The extension notifies the user which plugins are currently installed for Firefox. This is usually good for troubleshooting Firefox, especially if a video or file doesn’t work properly. This will quickly help you determine if you need a plugin based on what you are currently using.
